Hey Everyone!

Been really into flared Ankara sleeves recently, especially because they are having a moment in the fashion scene and I am loving it. Thank’s to my tailor, I made a few tops with flare sleeves that I think you should try out as well.

I decided to wear a lot of Ankara outfits this year and after finding out a lot of Nigerian brands are annoyingly expensive (story for another day), I decided to find myself a tailor. And I found one that can sew properly and her prices are perfect.

I have decided to take it upon myself to source for African brands that are not so expensive for my readers and not give up easily. One of the reasons why I started blogging was to show people where to get outfits at an affordable price and I am on a mission to make that possible.

If you know brands that sell affordable Ankara outfit please do let me know.

My mum gave me this Ankara material and I think it was 2 yards, after thinking of what to make for a while, the Ankara flared top idea got into my head and I made one for 2000 Naira.

These flared sleeves will make a difference on your Ankara outfits as they have a lovely effect on the wearer which speaks class and elegance; they are a statement making addition to your Ankara outfit collection which are daring and as well brings out the confidence in  you.

I decided to pair mine with red pants and a small beaded vintage purse to make the look perfect. Even though I feel like the pictures didn’t do it justice, I really loved the look.

You can check out my old Ankara posts HERE, HERE and HERE

What do you guys think?

xoxo

Flared Sleeves/ Bell Sleeves/ Exaggerated Sleeves we all know them by so many names and they sure aren’t going anywhere. This is the type of top that’s definitely going to “break necks” not just “turn heads’. Your tailor did a good one, don’t get me started on how hard it is to find affordable tailors.

Yes to those sleeves and your tailor came through girl. Never thoughts of over-exaggerated sleeves such as this but I am really loving it. Great pairing with those pants and bag. I look forward to more Ankara looks of course.
