How to Dress Classy on a Budget

white and blue outfit
Hey Guys!!!
I hope everyone is having an amazing week? I miss everyone 🙂
I have been off blogging for a year because I wanted to focus on law school and by God’s grace he crowned my effort and I was called to the bar last year.
So I am currently doing my youth service at a law firm here in Abuja and I was thinking about getting back to blogging because I love it so much and to be honest I really didn’t know how to start and I was scared to blog because it’s like starting all over again and it reminded me of how I started and all the learning process and I kept thinking I didn’t know how to act or edit pictures or write anymore but I know I will get better again so bear with me guys.

I don’t know how I am going to Juggle my Job as a lawyer and blogging but I feel like if you love something you create time for it and so I am determined to do this.
My biggest motivation is the fact that a lot of people kept visiting the blog even when I wasn’t posting and the questions always kept coming.
I am back now, no more breaks.

how to dress classy on a budget

how to get a classy look

This is my first outfit post of the year and I am super Excited!!!
I love blue for some really weird reason and it always gives me life…So I decided to wear a blue skirt with this really amazing top I got for 200 Naira while thrifting lol (market life).
I went with friends to get something’s and I heard a seller screaming 200 for tops so as a sharp girl I ran there and that is how I got this top.
I have a few tips on how to dress classy on a budget :
  • Make Accessories work for you.
  • Don’t be afraid to thrift, you may find some amazing pieces.
  • Wear pieces that fit properly.
  • Wear pointed flats of heels.
  • Carry a structured bag.
  • Wear statement Jewellery.

It’s not compulsory you have to break the bank to look nice, anywhere you can get clothes on sales or get thrifted items, you should run there.
I decided to go with blue shoes, a blue box that I turned to a clutch, Earrings and a collar brooch to get my perfect classy look.
I don’t know about you guys but I love this look.
what do you think?
Thanks for visiting
xoxo
